Star Wars Celebration Chicago: The Rise of Fandom

Episode 9 became The Rise of Skywalker, Galaxy’s Edge revealed a little more, we got the first peek at The Mandaiorian, and fans celebrated the 20th anniversary of The Phantom Menace. All of this and more took place over the five-day event in Chicago celebrating all things Star Wars.

Star Wars Celebration Chicago was also marking the 20th anniversary and 13th installment of the gathering. What started in 1999 in the rain and tents outside the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum has now become a major event packing the largest convention centers across the globe.
