I have never bought a new lens just for personal enjoyment, I am very practical spending money on my photography, invest in equipment that can help me generate income being a first priority. If I want something to play with, fish-eye, long lens, or "toys" I normally go used or very cheap. This was the first time I bought for personal enjoyment, wildlife and birds! Going to the Zoo and Safari Park are my fun time so now I have something to reach out a bit more,

With only five lens models in this category comparing did not take to long to pick but the final choice came harder than I planned. The Nikon 200-500mm almost won out. Here are my first two days at the Zoo and Safari park testing it out.
